For more than three decades, the Upper Midwest Optical Golf Day served as a vibrant gathering of the optical industry bringing colleagues together for friendly competition and a powerful cause. As the sole fundraising event for the UMOGD Sight Preservation Foundation, the outing helped us support individuals whose needs extended beyond vision care, with a special focus on helping children achieve academic success.

Over the years, thanks to the unwavering generosity of our sponsors, players, and donors, UMOGD raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support impactful causes from equipping visually impaired students at the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind, to breaking donation records for the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 35th and final Upper Midwest Optical Golf Day. As we officially close this chapter, we do so with immense gratitude for every person and organization who contributed to our mission. The impact of your support will continue to be felt for years to come.
